This is our second time staying in this home this year… would highly recommend it… Host is very responsive and the home has plenty of room for everyone. Close to highway, shopping, restaurants etc… very quiet neighborhood. Had one issue with the oven handle being broken but the host responded immediately when the issue was reported. We would definitely choose this home over others in the area again…If you decide to stay here, you will not be dissatisfied.

Very spacious and clean. Great back yard for my dog. Mostly upgraded home. Laundry on site was such a bonus. Very comfy beds, lots of dresser and closet space in each room. Quiet neighborhood. The only issue is the fire alarm chirps every time you open the oven door but it would be a very fast fire alarm in case of emergency!

My partner and I had a great stay at the Mountain Estates Oasis! The house was pristine and had everything we needed and the hot tub was a cherry on top! We saw wildlife right outside the window and enjoyed the fresh air and changing colors of the trees. Definitely recommend!

It's a really cozy and quiet tree house. We enjoyed it a lot. In the morning, we wake up seeing drew shimmering on the twigs right outside the window and horses wandering nearby. In the night, we enjoyed a family move night in the warmth of the fireplace. My kid loved it and already wanted to visit again.

Such a cozy little cabin, perfect for a getaway. It's close enough to Colorado Springs for easy trips, but it feels like you're so secluded. Bathroom had a heater too which was awesome and all in all, I could have stayed there so much longer.

We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was just as we had hoped it would be and we felt right at home. The place was very clean and was just the right amount of space for my wife and me as well as being in a great location that was close to everything we wanted to do. Checking in and out was very simple and convenient and we were happy with the process. We felt right at home and very secure throughout our stay. The web site was also helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to see. The one electrical outlet in the bathroom didnt work but it wasnt a problem for us at all. We also couldnt figure out the volume control on the television but that could very well be our fault. Lol! Everything was great and helped us enjoy our 40th wedding anniversay  and we would stay there again if we are ever back in Colorado Springs. We would highly recommend this apartment to any couple. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Great spot and the house is exactly as described. The roof deck has excellent views of the mountains and city, the few questions we had were quickly answered, everything was well cleaned for our arrival, and the home was welcoming and fit our visit well. Philip was a great host and was very accommodating to our feedback. The location was fantastic and the neighbor had a beautiful friendly dog that was totally in it for the scritches. We did find the shower was a little tight for 1 person but, over all it was definitely a peaceful place to stay between hikes and other events.

It is 850' square foot with two bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed. Home includes a full kitchen with a gas stove and fridge, laundry washer and dryer, a covered portico outside with a grill as well as parking on the property for up to 2 cars.

Other things to note
As this little home is very close to downtown, occasional events may be heard from the house. These events may last until 9pm and are generally on the weekend nights.
This is a no smoking residence. A fee of $400 will be taken out of the security deposit if the residence is smoked in.
Pets are allowed, but are $30 a night and required to stay off of bedding and furniture. Please bring a doggie bed to accommodate for your furry companions.

There were a few hiccups with our stay, however, the owners of this listing were responsive, and worked with us to make it right. 

We chose this property to stay at during our wedding weekend, as we got married at Hearth House Venue. Highly recommend this rental if you are attending or hosting a wedding there. Very close to the venue, and all the wonderful shops and restaurants of downtown Monument!

A highlight of the property is the backyard space, which has a fire pit, grill, plenty of seating to sit around and chat. It is also covered in case the rain rolls in. We loved the bistro lighting on the back deck as well.

Great place to stay for the Renaissance festival. Work perfect for two couples and one pet. It was clean,  easy to find and fit our needs perfectly for this trip.

Great place for a couple or family with older children. The location is great for walking access to shops and summer activities in town. We stayed at the rental for a week while moving. The rental is not ideal for young children or families with babies—no travel crib or high chair. If staying in the summer know there’s a small cooler in one room but it doesn’t cool the whole space. Monument isn’t known for hot temps but the week we stayed it was hot and some rooms (especially if using the stove or oven) got very hot. All-in-all it was a cute place that would be perfect for a couples weekend away.

Perfect location to downtown. Great restraunt behind the house. Peaceful to sit outside in the mornings and evenings.  We loved this place for our little family of 4.  The location is great and walking distance to anything downtown and the park.

We had a very comfortable extended stay at this Airbnb. All the amenities we needed were available. We were very thankful to the covered parking available here when a spring hail storm came through. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the park. Our daughter enjoyed the deer that visited the yard.

Lovely Airbnb in downtown monument. Stayed for a month. Easy to walk to local shops and restaurants, and very close to lots of great hiking. Only about 45 mins from Denver or 20 from Colorado Springs. Host is great. Would love to stay again.

This was a great AirBNB experience. The house is fantastic and super clean. Everything is nicely decorated, but not cluttered. It is really comfortable from the beds, to the living space and kitchen, to the back covered patio and ample parking. It has everything you need with lots of extra linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and even a washer and dryer. 

The host was pleasant and quick to respond. It’s obviously run by people who care about your experience and not just some property management company. 

The area is awesome with the mountains right there, and a cool little quiet town with lots of great places to eat and shop. Plus, it’s a quick commute to the highway. 

I highly recommend this place! Five stars all around.

We had a wonderful stay at Maxx and Vicki's home in Monument. It was gorgeous, and the home was cozy and historical. The beds were very comfortable, and the home really is within walking distance (1-2 blocks) to the main street, which made errands and mealtime a snap. The little ice cream shop was delicious as well! Don't miss it while you're there. Check in was really easy, and Maxx communicated clearly and within a reasonable timeframe. We would definitely stay again if we went through Monument. Thank you!!

We had the best time.  Your place was so clean and well stocked with anything we could want during our stay. The location was great because it was walking distance to bar, restaurants, ice cream and the Saturday morning Farmers Market.  We also loved the location right next to the cider/wine bar, very handy.  Our favorite part was the patio, everyone hung out there in the morning until everyone was ready to go for the day and every evening having a few drinks.  Thank you for a great stay.

Perfectly cozy home for a Colorado getaway. It is nicely located in between Denver and Colorado Springs, so there is a ton to do in the area. Monument also has the cutest downtown area with shops and restaurants, and even live music on occasion. The lake, parks, and hiking trails are not even five minutes away, and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The home is located next to a Cider house, which was a great place, but do be aware there may be noise, and the outside diners kept coming over to the fence to try to pet our dog. Upon arrival, we were caught off guard by the lack of air conditioning, as it was sweltering, and it was not well noted in the listing. The host went above and beyond to bring us a portable air unit and make sure that we were comfortable due to my friend having medical conditions, as well as updating the listing. No host has ever gone to that length and it definitely spoke volumes. Some things to mention are that the walls are thin, so you will hear any and everything happening in the home, so communicate with your travel partner(s) not to shower, and to keep their voices down (even when on the patio behind the house), while other people are sleeping. There also isn't much cabinet space in the kitchen, and no spices other than salt and pepper, so if you plan on cooking on your trip, those are some things to also keep in mind. Some additional things I really enjoyed about the home were that the water pressure is phenomenal, the beds are both very comfy, (one, is memory foam, the other is not) the couch was also comfortable, the grill worked really well, and they have the closets stocked with blankets and pillows. There are plenty of thoughtful touches to make the home a little more personal. You can tell that these hosts are truly caring individuals and that is overall what really made our stay. Their kindness and understanding in any situation was much appreciated. Being able to have our pup with us was also a huge plus. I would love to stay here again!

Loved our stay—perfect for our family of four.  We loved how close Monument Lake was to the house.  We brought an inflatable paddle board and an inflatable kayak—and went out on the lake 3 times while we were there after our other excursions.  We went to Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City, drove around the Glen Eyre castle, Red Rock Canyon, and climbed Mt Hermon.  Enjoyed the local bookstore, Lolly’s ice cream, and the local stores.  In our way back home to Texas we stopped at Helen Hunt Falls in North Cheyenne Canon Park.   Tried to go to Seven Falls, but the line for the shuttle was more than an hour wait.   Loved our trip to Monument Colorado.

A lovely & well presented Bungalow. The Location is absolutely perfect to  take a trip to pikes peak, garden of gods less than an hour to Denver. 
Fast food is less than 5 minutes away and restaurants are less than 15 minutes away, really anything you can think of is less than 5 minutes away. 
Max and Vicky were really helpful. Someone was always there asking us if we needed anything, they were super helpful with suggestions/things to do in area.. they were also really understanding! 

We loved our stay here & would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring beautiful Colorado.

This is an amazing location, walking distance to great restaurants, parks, an adorable bookstore, and hiking not even five minutes away!  You can also walk to Monument Lake - we trucked our paddle boards down there and had a wonderful time.  Vicki and Maxx were excellent hosts, super friendly, quick to respond and offered great suggestions for activities.  The house is bright, comfortable and updated (but you can still see some of the old cabin charm in the flooring and one artfully exposed set of wall in the bedroom).  Do note there is no air conditioning we could find but it's pretty cool up in the mountains so we didn't have any issues.  Vicki and Maxx supplied fans and of course the ample windows let in a nice breeze.  And you can bring your furry friend, which is such a huge plus!  100% recommend this place if you are looking for a nice getaway!
