We had a great week in Florissant! We explored all day and came home to a cozy home and enjoyed the evenings. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal.

Breathtaking views and the peaceful, private location were exactly what we needed! We really loved this property and would happily stay here again. It was quiet, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space. The mountain views and porch swing were highlights, and we enjoyed relaxing at the property, playing board games, and cooking in the lovely kitchen. The nearby grocery store was convenient, and the location made day trips to Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, and Royal Gorge easy.We did encounter a few challenges during our stay. We lost access to water for the final 12 or so hours, which made checkout particularly difficult. We also noticed what appeared to be mold on the main bathroom ceiling, along with a few other maintenance needs. We were also surprised to learn that an additional 50 damage waiver was required, despite already purchasing protection through Vrbo. This requirement wasn't disclosed on the listing when we booked. The host ultimately refunded the 50 fee, as well as approximately 14% of our total 4-night stay cost to address the issues we experienced.Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed the property's features. The host was responsive and made an effort to resolve the problems. We hope to return!
