Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. Dog Policy: This property maintains a no-pet policy for the comfort and convenience of all our guests. Type of Cooling for the Home Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness. Locations of All Security Cameras 1. Ring Doorbell Camera on front door. It is on and operating. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. The yard seemed to need a little maintenance, however not a deal breaker. The only thing that was out of the ordinary for us was the lighting in the bedrooms and then upstairs was a lot hotter than downstairs where it stayed cool. Everything else about the home was great and was everything we needed for our stay. We give it 5 stars, and appreciate the fans provided.

I booked this trip through Expedia and made my payment there, but the host later reached out by email requesting payment of the remaining invoice. I wasn’t a fan of that payment process, although the host was patient and responsive throughout. The house was centrally located and about 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do, which was very convenient. However, the property was much more dated than the photos suggested. The linens were clean, and there were plenty of towels available. The third bedroom had two twin beds that were essentially thin mattresses on springs. My daughters wouldn’t even sleep on them. The other beds were acceptable, but the pillows were very thin, so we ended up making a trip to the store to buy a couple of extra pillows. The house was generally clean, but it had a musty smell when we arrived. There were also hair clippings on the downstairs sink and dried shampoo residue on the shower curtain and a few other things that weren’t serious but just disappointing. Additionally, the listing advertised both a fireplace and an outdoor fire pit, but neither was operational during our stay. Those amenities probably shouldn’t be listed if they aren’t available. The neighborhood was also a bit rough. It seemed ok in the day but Loud music and fireworks woke us up almost every night. Overall, the location was a plus, but the condition of the home was a bit disappointing.

We didn't feel like guests in someone's home, we felt like a number in a hotel. All of our other experiences with Airbnb's felt warm, this felt cold. We weren't bothered and the house was immaculate but our stay felt like we were there for the money, not as a guest.
