There's a large sofa in the living room, comfortable seating and a décor and color scheme that's both inviting and modern.
Access to the kitchen is off to one side and includes a dining space for four. The kitchen itself is handsome and fully functional—ready for your culinary creations. All throughout this home the surfaces are of quality—wood and tile, granite and stainless steel.
The home's two bedrooms are on the opposite side of the main level—one featuring queen comfort, and the other a queen.

Centrally located just north of Downtown Colorado Springs, the Patty Jewett neighborhood is one of the most desirable right now—combing exceptional urban access with the classic charm of an area first built and settled around the turn of the 20th century. Downtown is roughly 5 minutes away by car and there are parks, trails, neighborhood cafés, breweries, a municipal golf course—in short, a whole lot of goodness. And being so central has its advantages … Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods are about 15 minutes away; the Broadmoor about 15 minutes, the Airport and the Air Force Academy just 20. There's a whole lot to do here, a whole lot to WALK to, and a whole lot to love! Our favorites in this neighborhood (just a few blocks away) are Stir (coffee, cocktails and apps) and Goatpatch Brewing in the Lincoln School!
Although there are many, many restaurants, bars, cafes and parks accessible by foot from this property, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around.
ATTENTION:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
* We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
* Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75/dog/week). No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!
* No parties or events
* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;
* Garbage Bins are just outside the kitchen door on the right. Blue = recycle, Black = Trash Pick up every Friday. Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!
* If you are staying with us on a Thursday night, we would be extremely grateful if you could roll the bins down to the street before 7am on Friday morning.*

The host was very responsive and helpful during the stay.
There were some maintenance and logistics issues that put a damper on the stay. Some of which were available in the further reading but not on the initial listing. I'll be passing these along separately. I think the biggest difficulty was the disconnect from the listing itself.
Unfortunately, I did not understand the ihoste arrangement when booking. I would not have chosen to book with a pass through company that required additional verification beyond already being identity verified with Airbnb. in this age of regular data breaches, that did not set a good start for the trip.Show more
