Description
This single-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on the east side of South Colorado Springs is conveniently located near Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs Airport, Citadel Mall, and public golf courses. It’s also a 5-minute walk to charming Sagebrush Park with a playground and open green space where kids can let off steam. It offers all the comforts of home, including two separate TV viewing rooms, both with reclining seating. A large front yard is encircled by a privacy fence.
As you approach, the first thing you’ll notice is the cheerful, sunshine-yellow privacy fence that completely encircles the home’s front yard, giving you the feeling of a serene retreat away from a busy world. Pull your vehicle up the long driveway and have two options for access to the home: a side entrance tucked into the outdoor dining patio (with a table for 4), or walk through the gateway of your privacy fence and follow a pathway to your front door.
Starting from the front door, this charming single-story blue bungalow opens into a spacious, serene living area that’s perfect for gathering together for movie nights. Enjoy watching the wall-mounted TV from one of TWO reclining leather sofas. Put your feet up. Ahhhh, home sweet home! A large window lets in plenty of uplifting daylight and overlooks your very private front yard.
A doorway leads from the living room into a big eat-in kitchen that’s outfitted with full-size appliances, granite countertops, plenty of bright white cabinetry, and a dining table for 6. You’ll find everything you need for meal prep with convenience and ease, including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and a range with oven and cooktop. We haven’t forgotten your coffee maker, cooking utensils, a fully stocked spice rack, and even a set of chef’s knives for serious cooking!
Adjacent to the kitchen, you’ll find a full bath with a shower stall and LOTS of storage space. In addition to storage beneath the sink vanity and in the large mirrored medicine cabinet, you’ll find a separate countertop with cabinets above and below. Plenty of room for everybody’s toiletries! An anteroom just outside the bath is home to a full-size washer and dryer.
All three bedrooms in this home have been decorated with restful simplicity, using shades of blue and dove gray that promote relaxation. Two bedrooms includes a king-sized bed and the third one is a full-sized bed and . Two bedrooms include their own TV and enjoys natural light from windows on two walls. One king bedroom features a large closet, while the others boasts an entire wall of built-in storage, including cabinets and drawers.
The second bath is appointed with an extra-long vanity with double sinks and a combination tub/shower.
You’ll appreciate the “second living room” in this home – a space with two plump recliners and a TV, plus a high-top table with two stools which can double as a work surface or a snack bar. A bow window lets in plenty of light when you want it, or pull the curtains for privacy when you don’t.

Reminders About the Property:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
-This home is located off a busier, main street Southeastern Colorado Springs. This neighborhood is partially family homes and mature apartment complexes.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-Guests can park up to 4 cars in the driveway as there is no street parking offered.
Type of Cooling for the Home:
-Although the home doesn't have central AC our evenings in this region are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide natural coolness.

-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.
-Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($150/month for one dog, $200/month for 2 dogs. No more than $400 per stay). Additional fees can incur if professional carpet cleaning is required or excessive dog hair is on the beds or furniture. No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!

Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:
-NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
-We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
-Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The photos do not show the whole property. There are these conex boxes on the property that people come and get in whenever they want. One night as I put my kids to bed and I heard these noises in the back yard where these conex boxes are and I saw these guys getting stuff out of the boxes. I didn’t feel safe staying here. I found several nails in the yard and there were empty glass bottles and a bunch of other junk around the house. None of this is shown in the picture of the property. It’s very miss leading. I told the property manager about this over the phone, and the told me that they could do anything about it and to talk to Airbnb. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOU’LL BE BETTER OFF. It was a lot of money. There were a lot of things that went wrong with the house as far as maintenance…Hoste was good about responding but the home owner there maintenance team not so good.Show more Brenda

The house is beautiful on the inside and very comfortable and clean. The yard has been neglected and very overgrown.However the neighborhood had us thinking twice about coming back with our children.Show more
