Loved this cabin, and perfect for my husband and I along with our 3 pitbull/german shepherd dogs. Big fenced backyard, super clean hot tub, fenced porch, trashcan and pop bags available for clean up, gas grill and gas fire-pit on the porch and backyard. Inside they had fully stocked kitchen tools, board games available, fully stocked bathroom with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and towels. Heaters worked perfectly and loved the very warm water for the shower. It’s a 16 min drive to get downtown woodland park and 30 min drive to get to Colorado Springs. You definitely need a car to be independent but it’s worth it. Close enough to the city but far enough to have peace/quiet and enjoy the forest. Host always responded to any questions within 10 min. We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It feels like home and has everything you need. I Would definitely come back again. Thank you for the lovely memory.Show more

We booked this place because it was pet friendly, but we wouldn't return. It isn't in a very convenient location but also isn't very private (you look out into the neighbors backyard and they're looking back). A row of pines along the fence would do wonders. However, our biggest complaint was the cleanliness. There was a smell when we entered. We noticed cobwebs throughout at eye level and most of the kitchen had oil residue covered in dust. Additionally, the hot tub (one of the main amenities we were interested in) was dirty (the water was extremely cloudy and turning on the jets resulted in bubbles overflowing the tub). Our biggest issue is the mouse excrement in the silverware holder we found on our final night (they did refund $100). We were also without a stove & oven. The team running the cabin was responsive, but didn't seem particularly worried about our concerns until we sent pictures of mouse poop in the cutlery drawer. Overall, it was an underwhelming stayShow more
