Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. The house was very dirty! The floors were filthy. The beds were very uncomfortable and full of hairs. I had to go by cleaning supplies just to take a shower. The counter tops were dirty. The walls have random stuff all down them. There's no lights inside and have the outlet plug in don't work. Pieces of food all over the floor and under furniture. Arms a chairs were sticky in living room. There was no bottom sheet on the bed upstairs! The the pillows we're old and stunk. They had hairs on them, and none of the bed sheets look like they hadn't been washed on any of the beds. I asked the host if we could check out an hour late when I booked it. He replied, message me the day before you leave. Couldn't give me a definite answer. Also, you pay for a full day friday but couldn't check in until four pm. Charge three hundred dollars for cleaning fee.And I'd like to know how they're using that! The backyard was nice.This house needs a massive deep cleaning and repairs.

The house is nice. It is centrally located. Pet friendly. The kitchen is really nice. The backyard and patio are great, especially for Colorado Springs. The neighbors are friendly. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

This was my first negative Airbnb experience in over 10 years. We booked late and arrived at 2:00 a.m. The entry code didn’t work, but their support helped us in promptly. The thermostat read 80°F, and while support replied fast, they offered little help and claimed the AC had no issues—despite giving very detailed troubleshooting steps, which suggests otherwise. In the morning, we found no shower supplies, no coffee, and only two small towels. The unit felt old and not clean. We received a partial refund of $90 from a $700 two-night stay. The next day, a technician confirmed the AC was frozen and wouldn’t work during our stay. Coffee was delivered at 5 p.m. The host manages over 70 properties but didn’t offer a swap or better solution. Communication was polite, but overall the support felt minimal and reactive. For the price, I expected better. I’m writing this so others can make an informed decision.

This is just a great house! Very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and plenty of parking. Exactly what we needed. The back yard was perfect for our dog and the house is just as advertised, super quaint, very comfortable and very clean. Definitely recommend.
