I would like to begin by highlighting some positive aspects of our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, conveniently located near the interstate and Downtown Colorado Springs. We enjoyed beautiful mountain views and easy access to excellent restaurants, which was a definite plus. However, there were a few areas that did not meet our expectations based on the Airbnb listing. The size of the rooms appeared much larger in the photos than they were in reality, and the thin walls made for less-than-ideal soundproofing. Upon our arrival, we had difficulty accessing the property due to the garage door code not working. As a result, we had to walk up the stairs, enter through the front door, and press a button to open the garage door each time we returned, which was quite inconvenient. The house rules were not sent to me until three days before our arrival, and they did not align with the rules listed on the Airbnb description.Show more

We were in town visiting new babies in the family and this place was perfect for housing multiple aunts and uncles and grandparents. It was so spacious and comfortable that the new babies came to us and we all hung out together in the rental. Loved the fireplace on the roof top and the views. Also loved the warm sunlight in the morning and the fireplace in the living room. We could have used a few more chairs, especially on the deck from the living room. We also could have used a few more throw blankets, a teapot and more tissue. The biggest issue we had was getting the garage door to open. We realized you just really have to push the buttons hard for the door to open. Overall a really great stay we would definitely come back!Show more

Thank you Philip! Coming home with our mom to celebrate her 80th birthday in Colorado Springs was even better thanks to our “home away from home”! Philip is an A+ host with great communication, it helps to have quick responses when your next move depends on the host! Philip’s home was so clean and comfy! A spacious unit with all the amenities. The stairs were somewhat challenging for mom, but she was a trooper. Would definitely consider that next time! Can’t wait to bring the rest of the family next time! Thank you again!Show more
