Description
It is 850' square foot with two bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed. Home includes a full kitchen with a gas stove and fridge, laundry washer and dryer, a covered portico outside with a grill as well as parking on the property for up to 2 cars.
We live about 15 minutes from the property, so if anything arises and needs attention we can be available quickly. Otherwise the property is to yourself for the duration of your stay.
Enjoy the monument strip with great restaurants, shopping and parks all within walking distance; The Ice Cave Cider House, Coffee Cup café, Black Forest Foods Café, 2nd street Bistro, La Casa Fiesta, Papa Bear Pizza, and Lolley's Ice Cream shop. In the summer enjoy the Farmers market every Saturday morning, concerts in Limbach park on Wednesdays', as well as Art Hop the third Thursday each month, there is also a skate park behind a great local coffee shop Serrano's (5 mins walking). Rosie's Diner, Starbucks, McDonalds, Arbys, a Safeway, Fuel Station, a 5 minute drive from the property. Visit 3 Hundred Days of Shine in Monument, or drive to Lee Spirits Distillery in Colorado Springs.
GREAT LOCATION in the tri-lakes area, bring your bikes and enjoy the great outdoors. Monument Lake (closest), Palmer Lake and, Woodmoor lake accommodates paddle boarding, fishing and kayaking (Not provided). There are many excellent hiking locations; Mt. Herman Trailhead 5.8 miles away, Palmer Lake Reservoir 3.6 miles away, Spruce Mountain open space 7.4 miles away and, the New Santa Fe Trailhead that stretches 17 miles across the front range. The USAFA (12 mins away), new In-N-Out location (14 mins away), Denver Airport (1 hour away), Colorado Springs Airport (34 mins away), as well as 6 minutes to the charming town of Palmer Lake with the famous O'Malley's Pub, Bella Panini, 105 Social House, The Charritos House, and SpeedTrap another locally owned coffee shop with fresh made cocktails, and food.
As this little home is very close to downtown, occasional events may be heard from the house. These events may last until 9pm and are generally on the weekend nights.
This is a no smoking residence. A fee of $400 will be taken out of the security deposit if the residence is smoked in.
Pets are allowed, but are $30 a night and required to stay off of bedding and furniture. Please bring a doggie bed to accommodate for your furry companions.View More

There were a few hiccups with our stay, however, the owners of this listing were responsive, and worked with us to make it right.
We chose this property to stay at during our wedding weekend, as we got married at Hearth House Venue. Highly recommend this rental if you are attending or hosting a wedding there. Very close to the venue, and all the wonderful shops and restaurants of downtown Monument!
A highlight of the property is the backyard space, which has a fire pit, grill, plenty of seating to sit around and chat. It is also covered in case the rain rolls in. We loved the bistro lighting on the back deck as well.Show more Heloisa
