Arrive at the home and park in the private driveway—there's space enough for three vehicles. Enter through the front and into a bright, welcoming space with clean lines, clean, modern décor and plenty of simple charm. Off of the main living space is the kitchen—fully functional and ready for your culinary creations. There's also a dining table with seating for six. Just off the kitchen is a full laundry for guest use, and access to the private backyard featuring clean air, open space and probably a clear Colorado sky! There's a gas grill out here on the patio for guest use too. Back inside, there are two bedrooms off the main living area, both featuring voluminous & comfortable KING beds. All of our bedding is of quality, cleaned and laundered professionally. The linens are white, the bathrooms are spotless & modern—nicer than your typical hotel stay. Two additional bedrooms are downstairs—one featuring another KING bed, the other a comfortable queen. There's also an inviting and separate living space down here, with two exceptionally comfortable sofas along with 2 huge bean-bags for the kids (or the inner-children in all of us). Rough around the edges, but offering easy access and some great, hidden amenities, this area is a great alternative and a great VALUE for guests and visitors. The COS airport is approximately 10 minutes away. Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs are about 15 minutes away. Downtown—5 minutes. Centrally located, indeed. Although restaurants, shopping and other attractions are located close to this home, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around. ATTENTION: AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We recently stayed at this Airbnb. There were many, many issues that we encountered (listed below). These issues made the house inhospitable and our stay was uncomfortable to say the least. We were unable to use the downstairs due to the flooding nor were we able to have hot showers. The piles and garbage bag full of dog feces in the backyard were equally unpleasant and unwelcome. - downstairs was flooded, unusable - the outside garbage bins were full to overflowing when we arrived - mold in the downstairs bathroom - flickering lights in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom - shoes and other things under one of the beds in the downstairs room - dog feces all over the back yard - entire garbage bag full of old dog feces open in the backyard - no hot water - instructions to access the unit were incorrect and we had to call to get the correct entry instructions - after we called about the flooded downstairs a maintenance team was never sent out.Show more
