Type of Cooling for the Home
Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.

-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.

Philip’s cottage in Colorado Springs is the perfect home away from home. We were visiting for my sister’s wedding and we all felt immediately at home here. The house was incredibly clean and well restored and decorated (very charming original details but had all of the modern amenities you could need). The house is well stocked with everything from soaps to trash bags to games and books. The backyard was the best place to hangout and we really enjoyed having access to the grill and fire pit. The guest house in the back was also adorable and a great place to give guests a little extra privacy. Philip was a great host - he provided tons of details about the house and was very responsive.
