I recently stayed at the Airbnb called "Colorful Colorado," and overall, it was a decent experience. The host was incredibly friendly and proactive in communication, which made me feel welcome. However, the neighborhood wasn't ideal. There were quite a few stray cats around, and some loud, sketchy neighbors made it hard to relax at times. While the accommodation itself was nice, I wish the surrounding area had been a bit more pleasant.

Great location and beautifully appointed home.

We had an extended family gathering here in the Springs to spend time with aging in-laws. The house was amazing and had everything you could think of available. The kitchen was loaded with more plates/bowls/glassware/silverware as well as cooking bowls and was top notch! The Blackstone grill and backyard, added to the amazing evenings hanging out back once weather cooled down. We had a great time!

Such a beautiful and unique place to visit and unwind! The deck was the perfect spot for meals for our large family and the views didn’t disappoint! We were grateful for the games available for us to use. We had some great conversations using the questions game!

The treehouse is adorable, and the surrounding area is just so beautiful, you feel like you’re in a painting. The only downside was some loud music on one if the days, but the rest was pretty amazing. Also loved seeing the horses right next to us. Philip is also extremely helpful, kind, and communicative.

We were misplaced via bad ordeal with prior reservations with a different host/property. We had to book last minute after driving in 12 hours. 5 STAR host! We really enjoyed our stay at Philip’s place! Check-in was smooth, & the home had everything we were looking for - reliable WiFi, TV, central A/C, a very comfortable king-size bed, a full kitchen, laundry room, & private driveway. The entire house offered great privacy & was the perfect size for two. The location is just a couple of blocks off the main road in Manitou Springs - close enough to walk to the shops & restaurants, though be prepared for a bit of a hill on the way back. It’s also ideally situated for visiting Garden of the Gods & Pike’s Peak, & only 25 mins from COS Airport. If you’re looking for a comfortable, private home away from home, this place is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place, absolutely loved it. The place itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The area is quiet and secluded. It was so fantastic to have our coffee on the front porch and watch the horses go by. We will book this one again next time we are in the area.

Very nice place! The highway noise mentioned in another review was not an issue. We appreciated the air conditioning that was available. Travelers with a non-standard schedule (such as those getting up extremely early to hike Barr trail) should be aware that every step can be heard/felt from the neighbors in the larger unit upstairs. Plan accordingly with ear plugs if you intend to sleep early/late. The host was communicative and responsive, and we appreciated the easy check in/out. We would stay here again.

Our stay in this cozy A-frame exceeded our expectations! The furniture and beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the outdoor amenities (cornhole, hammock, fire pit) were great way to pass the time in between nearby hikes and adventures. The host was extremely responsive to our questions. I have already recommended this gem to several friends!

This house was absolutely perfect for what my family of 6 was wanting. We wanted something off the grid, but close enough to have options of lots of things to do. The driveway is rough, but the surrounding sights as you are driving it take your attention away from the bumps. The house is so spacious and so comfortable at night being able to sleep with the windows open. It was amazing to be able to sit outside on the wrap around porch, especially when it was raining. If we ever head back that directions, this house will be the first I go to and try to book.

We stayed one night. Great location with easy access and plenty of parking. The house sits next to a dirt field—not good or bad, just something to note. The pool looked bigger in the photos but was deep and fun for the kids. It needed sweeping and more chlorine, but management responded quickly and said they'd follow up with their pool service. This would be the biggest issue we had was the pool was not clean. It was okay for swimming, but the sun cooked off all the chlorine. If we stayed more than a day I would have asked for it to be shocked. The house is older—classic '70s ranch style—with a vintage feel I actually liked. It was clean, the AC worked great, and it had everything we needed. TV was large with YouTubeTV. The living room is small with limited seating, so it’s better for small gatherings. Outside, there’s a shaded patio with furniture and a gas grill. Overall, it's a practical stay for visiting family rather than a vacation home, which was exactly what we wanted.
