We enjoyed the house. The only thing is we were really excited about the hot tub and it didn’t work while we were there.

The house was out in the country, off of a dirt road, about 5 miles from a "hard ball" road. Nice country feel about this place and location but took some getting use to since the nearest fast food restaurant was down the road about 10 miles or so. The coffee set up was the best I have seen in a VRBO. The house was clean, I have seen worse and better. Very pet friendly but the grass was a bit high. The hosts seemed to reply very quickly but I feel they did not really care for this house nor us as VRBO people. We still have issues that have not been solved even as long as over 2 months of correspondence via cellphone text and emails.

Country Living Away From Home We had a great experience with booking and communication with the property manager. The location is beautiful but out of the way if you plan on driving into Colorado Springs a lot. The dirt roads are very bumpy and even washboard in some areas.The house was spacious and had comfy beds. It was clean for the most part, although the floors were very gritty. There is a strong sulfur smell in the water, but they offer filtered water from the fridge. The hot tub was dirty so we didn't use it. The dryer stopped working on our last night and we also lost electricity for about an hour, but they were responsive when we called about it.The AC is non-existent. Yes, they list portable air conditioners but they didn't get very cool and were essentially just fans. It was uncomfortable during the day but the nights were cool.The kids enjoyed the game room in the garage, the open yard to play in, and we really enjoyed seeing all of the deer in the area. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience but it didn't quite meet the needs of our family.
