Awesome house! We hosted our friend’s bachelor party here and the house was perfect! Walkable to sixth/seventh street and had everything you need like a pool table, great outdoor space, and TV area to catch all the games

We were still able to have a good time during our stay, and the property had the potential to be a great place for a group getaway. However, there were several maintenance, cleanliness, and amenity issues that ultimately affected our experience, especially considering the price we paid.
During our stay, we encountered a broken couch leg in the game room, a wasp nest on the property, a dripping AC unit with no batteries in the remote, and a moldy shower curtain in the guest shower. There also weren’t enough towels for everyone, and the WiFi did not work in the back house.
I do want to acknowledge that the owner/management team was initially very responsive and timely when we brought these concerns to their attention. They were quick to communicate and seemed willing to help, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, despite the prompt communication, many of the issues ultimately came to no real conclusion or resolution. I would also strongly recommend making the additional fees in the list

I am going to be as transparent as possible so that anyone reading this will know what they're booking. I'd rather give this property a 3.5 because the amount you pay for it is not what you get. You'd expect pristine, and pristine it was not. Pros: -Mostly clean -Convenient to UT and walkable eateries and pubs -Spacious home for large groups/families -Quiet street -Easy access to and from property - Some supplies like trash bags, paper towels, plasticware, soap, etc were available. -Coffee was available Cons: -Host said parking was available for 5 cars. This was incorrect. There is only street parking and if the neighbors or cafe have visitors, you will have to park a block away. -There is no garage. It was converted to a game room. -Hair was in the shower area and 2 of the 4 of the shower drains were clogged and drained slowly. -You can hear EVERYTHING from the above floors - every bump, creek, and movement. -The sofa leg kept falling off on the chaise lounge. It was annoying. -one of the slide doors was not locked. At night when we noticed it, we tried for 30 min to lock it and refused to use the door for the remainder of the trip. -The image of the pool is misleading. It's a small kiddy pool. - There was debris and cobwebs in some areas. I don't expect this if I paid $X. - Dining table chairs were wobbly and unstable. - BBQ grill was rusty. We used foil to cook on it. - Outdoor TV did not connect to anything but music. It has the potential to be a great rental with TLC

We used this for a bachelor party and it was great! There were 14 of us and pretty much everyone got their own bed. It’s very clearly a house for bachelor parties/ bachelorette parties so perfect for our use case. Great location near East Austin too!

Our group had a very disappointing stay due to poor property management and a complete lack of response from the owners.The Issues:Check-in/Tech: We were locked out for an hour upon arrival and plagued by an automated system sending false checkout messages. Only a few of the TVs worked and many remotes had dead or missing batteries.Cleanliness: The trash dumpster was full when we arrived, and the freezer was dirty with old ice and debris. The pool was dirty as well with an empty chlorine dispenser.Maintenance: The fire pit propane was empty, bathroom towel hooks fell off the walls, and the living room table was unstable/tipping off its frame. The pool is also smaller than the listing photos suggest.Essentials: No basic supplies like trash bags or dishwasher pods were provided.Most disappointingly, the host completely ignored our private outreach regarding these issues. We were left to manage a poorly maintained property ourselves with no support. I cannot recommend this stay.

We had a good time staying here, but there were a few less than ideal features. It was helpful for us to check in early with an associated cost which was fantastic. Unfortunately, we did loose power one of the days. We had been told there would be enough pool towels, but there were not for our group of 23 people- the owners did send us towels later on our trip but it was too late. The back yard was dirty and the couches were not useable outside, but there was space for standing around with friends. We were offered a late check out by the host, but were then told that we could not check out late which was confusing and challenging after making plans. A coffee shop next door to the house made it very easy for breakfast with a large group.
