This listing is a total bait and switch. After booking, they hit you with a surprise “choice” — either pay a nonrefundable $50 fee that supposedly covers $1,000 in damages (but only if the host decides you didn’t “cause” it), or a $1,000 refundable deposit that they can keep if they “feel” you broke any rule. The fine print gives them full discretion, and the true cost isn’t shown upfront because no one would book if it were. The place was filthy—dust, grime, and what looked like drug residue on the coffee table—yet they expect you to do dishes, laundry, and cleaning yourself. Very few hosts charge fees like this; most are $25 nonrefundable or $250 refundable. Imagine paying $50 for one night! Airbnb already covers damages beyond this bogus “insurance.” This is unethical. While I’d avoid at all costs the only positive thing is late response and it’s got lots of things to do if ok with extra fees. Kendall

Very nice pad, clean and a good deal. The place looked just like the photos, and I liked that we could park safely behind a gate — it felt secure. There were lots of fun things to enjoy during our stay. The pool looked nice (though we didn’t have time to use it), and the ping pong table was a big hit! I would have loved to try the pickleball court, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get the lights to turn on.<br/>My biggest concern was the cleanliness. There were visible stains on a pillow, the mattress cover, and even one pillow with what looked like a blood stain — definitely not okay. The baseboards also needed a good deep cleaning, and the bed rolled to one side, making it uncomfortable to sleep.<br/>With a better cleaning service and a few small maintenance updates, this place could easily be a great stay. I’d consider coming back if those issues were addressed because the property itself has a lot of potential.
